By creating an account and using SafeSpoon you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Informational Purpose Only

SafeSpoon is a personal tracking tool designed to help parents log the introduction of allergenic foods to their infant. It is provided for informational purposes only.

THE APP IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE. Information recorded in the app does not constitute a diagnosis, prognosis, or treatment recommendation.

Always consult a qualified paediatrician or allergist before introducing any new food to your baby, particularly if your baby has a known allergy, eczema, or a family history of food allergies.

3. Emergency Situations

If your baby shows signs of a severe allergic reaction — including difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, loss of consciousness, or anaphylaxis — call your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on this app in an emergency.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of the data you enter into the app.
• Decisions made based on information recorded in the app.
• Keeping your account credentials secure and confidential.
• Ensuring that the app is used appropriately for your baby's individual medical situation under the guidance of a healthcare professional.

5. Account and Data

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Upon deletion, all your data — including your baby's profile, log entries, reactions, and photos — is permanently and irreversibly removed.

You own the data you enter. We do not claim any rights over your personal or baby health records.

6. Exports and Sharing

PDF and CSV exports generated by the app may contain personal information about you and your baby. You are responsible for handling these exports securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws when sharing them with third parties such as healthcare providers.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including any medical decisions made in reliance on information recorded in the app.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law
